From my sporting activity I have made the experience that massage has a positive effect on my physical well-being.
That's why I decided to choose massage as a form of therapy.

The following applications have proven effective for me:
  • Sports massage
  • Trigger point treatment
  • Fascia treatment

I used this for the following areas:

Tension
As a result of the increasing muscle loss, compensatory postures are inevitable. This can lead to tension in the long run. I have experienced this above all with the increasing use of the wheelchair, mainly in the shoulder / neck area.

I am in the fortunate position and I am enjoying it to the full, despite the restrictions, to still enjoy some action. So I use the possibilities of the power wheelchair to be on the road off-road and to use the limits of the wheelchair consciously but in a controlled manner. The strain on the body is felt accordingly and the massage is a very good aid for regeneration.

Treatment:        Sports massage, trigger point treatment, fascia treatment
Purpose:           To reduce tension-related pain

Breathing
During the massage I got to know a few exercises that support easier breathing.

Treatment:         The professional basis is a CRAFTA training for the masseuse
She treats the various structures with massage techniques as well as neurodynamic
mobilization and soft tissue techniques.
Purpose:            Ventilation of the lungs, keeping the tissue of the chest supple

Swallowing
This treatment mobilizes and partially massages the chewing and swallowing apparatus in order to maintain the swallowing function for as long as possible.

Agility
The increasingly reduced movement can lead to the muscles and tissue hardening / sticking together and thus being perceived as resistance in movement. The massage promotes blood circulation and maintains the elasticity of the tissue so that no resistance is built up due to lack of movement.

Treatment:       Fascia treatment
